Assassin's Creed Valhalla introduces several new gameplay features and tweaks compared to its predecessors. For instance, the inclusion of raids allows for more strategic combat options, including the opportunity to plan attack routes and enlist your crew's aid. Instead of eagle vision, the game uses 'Odin Sight', a thematic change more fitting to the Norse setting. Also, players can now build and upgrade their settlement, a feature which wasn't available in the previous parts. Additionally, Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Linux has reported pretty decent performance, albeit few minor issues, mainly due to the use of the Proton compatibility tool.
