Ubisoft bids farewell to Eivor and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with the release of its final patch after more than two years of updates. The saga’s story concluded in December with The Final Chapter, leaving today’s patch focused on bug fixes and minor tweaks. As a fan, I’m torn—I still have the final expansion to explore, and Valhalla has become one of my favorites. But change is inevitable, and I’m excited for the return of the classic AC style in Mirage. Update 1.7.0 addresses issues like the Captain at Katzenelnbogen not counting kills, Eivor’s hair clipping through the hood, and missing previously purchased items. Farewell, Valhalla—your Viking adventures will be missed! Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will receive four more content updates in 2021.
